Acceptable Use Policy

Linkturf gives you branded short links on a domain you own. We built it for legitimate marketing, transactional, and informational links. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what is allowed, how we screen domains and destinations, and what happens when someone crosses the line. Linkturf is operated by Mining Wells LLC. By creating an account or connecting a domain, you agree to this policy.

Domain eligibility and screening

Linkturf only works on domains you own and control. When you connect a domain, we verify control and check it against major spam and phishing reputation lists, including services such as Spamhaus and SURBL. Domains currently listed on those services are not eligible for Linkturf.

If a domain is not eligible, you will see a clear message and a link to this policy. We re-check connected domains periodically, and a domain that becomes listed after approval may be suspended.

Destination screening

We scan the destination of your links, both when they are created and on an ongoing basis, against malware and phishing intelligence such as Google Safe Browsing and URLhaus. Links that point to flagged destinations may be disabled automatically, with notice to you.

Prohibited uses

You may not use Linkturf, on any domain, to create, host, distribute, or link to:

• Phishing or credential theft, or pages that impersonate a person, brand, or institution to deceive.
• Malware, spyware, or drive-by downloads, or links intended to compromise a device.
• Unsolicited bulk messaging (spam), including SMS or email sent without the consent required by law.
• Fraud or deceptive schemes, including fake offers, get-rich-quick, and bait-and-switch destinations.
• Cloaking or deceptive redirects that show one destination to reviewers and another to recipients.
• Illegal goods or services, or content that is unlawful where you or your recipients are located.
• Content that violates the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
• Anything that violates the terms of the carriers, networks, or platforms your links travel through.

Your compliance responsibilities

You are responsible for obtaining the consent and following the laws that apply to your messaging, including the TCPA and CAN-SPAM in the United States, and equivalent rules elsewhere. Linkturf provides the links. The permission to message your audience is yours to secure and to keep records of.

Enforcement

If we believe an account or domain violates this policy, we may disable specific links, suspend a domain, or suspend or terminate the account, with or without prior notice, depending on severity. We act quickly on credible abuse reports because a single bad actor must never put other customers at risk. Accounts terminated for violations are not eligible for refunds.

Reporting abuse

If you believe a Linkturf link is being used for any of the above, email abuse@linkturf.com with the link and a short description. We review every report.

Appeals

If your domain was found ineligible or your account was actioned and you believe it was a mistake, email support@linkturf.com and we will take another look.

Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP as the product and the threat landscape evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
